Americana to Arm Triangle

The Kimura Mouse Trap is normally a 3 step attack sequence, starting with the arm in the bottom position making for a nice Kimura. As the arm travels up and straightens out, it leads to a figure four arm lock, and as it goes higher (think waving hello position), gives an Americana. This is usually the end of most people’s Kimura Mouse Trap, but not mine!

It’s very common for the bottom man to try to escape the Americana by bringing his hand towards his head in an attempt to lock hands and break the isolation you were attempting. No problem, as this puts him right in the path of an arm triangle.
